Bangladesh lost opener in women’s football

Nepal beat Bangladesh 1-0 in their first group match of 11th SA Games at Kamalapur Stadium in Dhaka on Friday 29 January 2010.

Nepal dominated from the outset of the match and created more chances but managed to score only one goal at the 35th minute.

Bangladesh produced chances in the second half but Rousonara Akther Bolu (10) missed both the chances in 73th and 84th minute.

The lone goal of the match came from the boot of Jamuna Gurung (Jsy-07) of Nepal.

Finally Nepal defeated Bangladesh 1-0 in their 1st match.
